DVC Early Booking for Candlelight Processional Dining Packages

If you are headed to Walt Disney World this holiday season, be sure to not miss out on the nightly Candlelight Processional at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre in the World Showcase!

This musical telling of the story of Christmas is presented nightly from November 29th thru December 30th at 5:00pm, 6:45pm and 8:15pm. Each evening, a celebrity narrator joins a 50-piece orchestra and massed choir to take you on a holiday journey that will warm the hearts of your entire family.

Celebrity narrators for this year’s event so far, include:

  • Whoopi Goldberg (December 6 and 7)
  • Pat Sajak (December 16 through 18)
  • Steven Curtis Chapman (December 22 through 24)
  • Edward James Olmos (December 25 and 26)

In order to guarantee your family seating for this event, it is highly recommended to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. These packages are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at 16 dining locations throughout Epcot and include a non-alcoholic beverage, an appetizer, entree and dessert (or buffet), as well as guaranteed seating to one of the evenings performances.

Best of all, DVC Members and Annual Passholders can book beginning Tuesday – July 2nd, one day prior to the general public! Reservations can be made that day by calling DVC Member Services at 800-800-9800, or starting July 3rd by visiting EpcotHolidays.com. No discounts are eligible when booking this dining package.

With this being the first holiday DVC adventure for my wife and I, we will be on the phones bright and early July 2nd booking our packages! With dinner and guaranteed seating included, the price for this seem very reasonable as compared to other dining packages across property. If you’ve been to a Candlelight Processional or taken advantage of the dining package in prior years, share your comments below. Hope to see you there!

  • We love the Candlelight Processional! Last year we were fortunate enough to have NPH as our narrator and this year we hope to snag a package which will include Gary Sinese. We will have our granddaughter who will be only 15 months old for this year so she may or may not be able to sit through the whole thing (in which case our son will most definitely leave with her soas not to disturb other guests). I noticed a big difference in dining package prices, though. Garden Grill BF package is $56 (but normally the regular GG meal is $35 for bf). Dinner can be as much as $59.99 but it’s CP package price is $68. Why such a huge upcharge for the breakfast, I wonder?

With our granddaughter we will need an early CP show too so that makes me think breakfast or an early lunch is our only option.
