Disney announced today over on Disney Parks Blog that Topolino’s at Disney Vacation Club’s newest property Disney’s Riviera Resort will host a special New Year’s Eve gathering.
Dubbed “Mezzanotte at Topolino’s: An Italian Masquerade”, the event will feature European-inspired dishes, tapas, drinks, and more. Guests will then get to enjoy ringing in the New Year on the restaurants outdoor terrace overlooking Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Worth noting is that the event does have a dress code with dress pants or slacks with a collared shirt requested for men and dresses, skirts, pants and blouses as acceptable options for women.
The event is limited to 200 Members and guests at a cost of $550 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of early registration starting Tuesday – July 16th by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Reservations open to the general public on Thurdsay – July 18th.
Is it only limited to DVC Members? It sounded like it’s open to everyone, but DVC members get first dibs.
DVC Members will get priority booking two days early, however the event is open to everyone.
$550? Yikes.
So disappointed that they have taken out all rooftop locations for special pricey NYE events this year. I’d always had it in my plan to eat at Topolino on NYE to see the earlier fireworks showing at Epcot and now I can’t. I have 3 very small children so regardless of cost, these parties are of no use to me as my children will all need to go to bed by 7:30pm!! All I wanted was to have a lovely dinner with my family whilst watching they epcot NYE fireworks at the earlier showing and I have no ability to do that, so disappointing
550 dollars, what are you getting for this, Walt coming back alive, wow.
