I wanted to start offering some content that could be beneficial to anybody looking for a DVC Membership or an add-on package. Below are some great listings that we have available and I would consider “Deals of the Week”. Below is a really nice Copper Creek package with all 300 points for the 2020 allocation and an extra 195 points in the bank from 2019.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins Membership expires 2068 – Annual Dues $7.45 per point
300 points. February use year. 495 points coming on 2/1/20 (300 + 195 banked points from 2019, banked points need to be used by 2/1/21) and 300 points coming on 2/1/21. Closing Costs=$1085 Priced at $160/pt ($48,000) Ref #WLCC300-02-1230

Resale packages like this are great since you would start out with a surplus of points for the first year. These types of packages with extra banked points gives you a lot of flexibility up front and allows you to take a longer vacation, stay in a larger villa, or do multiple trips throughout the year. If you can’t use all the points the first year, you could bank the regular points you didn’t use into the next year and have extra points to play with the following year….what’s not to love about having extra points. Disney’s direct price on Copper Creek is $210 per point so this package directly would be $63,000. The resale price is $50 less per point than Disney at $160 per point or $48,000. That is a savings of over $15,000 or 24% off Disney’s direct price. It’s a nice one…
Here is another great listing at Old Key West for 150 points and a full year of banked points giving you 300 points to play with for the first year.

This package is fully loaded full of points and if you really wanted to have some fun, you could even borrow from 2021 and have 450 points for your first reservations. Packages like this would be great for a family get together or bringing friends along with you. You can stay in a larger size villa….or book multiple villas for other friends/family you bring along.
The fact that Disney resale packages can save you thousands from buying directly from Disney, put your family in Disney’s best resort accommodations, give you an opportunity to purchase at any Home Resort you’d like…..AND the packages are negotiable!!! Yes, you can also present an offer on any property and possibly save even more money. Some sellers will accept an offer, some may counter your offer, and some will stay firm on their price…but it never hurts to try.
