Disney has very recently announced as part of the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort that Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will begin welcoming Disney Vacation Club members starting December 6. According to the release below, this opening period is only for members and the rest of the hotel (much like Jambo House), will remain closed. In addition, the rest of the Disneyland Resort hotels will remain closed as well as the parks until further notice. Downtown Disney District is currently open.
We would love to know your thoughts on this recent development which came out shortly before the projections for annual dues where Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian are currently listed for 2021 at $6.9927, up from $6.5985 in 2020. Are the annual dues fair given the resort has been closed since March? Would it be worth a trip to California to stay at the Grand Californian with so little open? Let us know in the comments below what you think.
