UPDATE 6/24/2021: Disney Vacation Club has updated its online pricing to reflect these price increases effective today, Thursday, June 24th, for new member purchases.

You did not misread that title – It is happening! Several Disney Vacation Club properties are seeing an increase in their direct sold-out price per point, including our first-ever $300+ per point resort.

Three new sold-out resort price increases are going into effect on June 24th, 2021, for new Disney Vacation Club members and on July 15th, 2021, for current members looking to add on more points.

ResortPrevious Direct PriceNew Direct PriceIncrease
Disney’s Old Key West Resort$165$170+ $5
Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge$186$190+ $4
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel$295$310+ $15

This marks the second increase in less than twelve months for the Grand Californian, which saw its price increase from $280 to $295 per point back on January 14th, 2021. In total, this equals a $30 per point increase year over year. If you are a Grand Californian owner, that news is pretty exciting! But for the rest of us dreaming of adding VGC points to our collection, it sounds a bit scary.

The good news is that Disney Vacation Club is revisiting some of its old tricks for rolling out these increases. While direct pricing has already increased for new members, current DVC members looking to add-on will benefit from some additional time before the increased pricing goes into effect.

With these increases, 13 out of 15 Disney Vacation Club Resorts have seen their direct sold-out price increase over the past twelve months, with only Animal Kingdom Villas and Grand Floridian unchanged.

That being said, we thought this would be a good time to take a full look at where direct pricing currently stands for all Disney Vacation Club properties:

ResortDirect Price
Animal Kingdom Villas$186 per point
Aulani$201 per point
Bay Lake Tower$245 per point
Beach Club Villas$245 per point
BoardWalk Villas$210 per point
Boulder Ridge$190 per point
Copper Creek Villas$225 per point
Grand Californian$310 per point
Grand Floridian$255 per point
Hilton Head$140 per point
Old Key West$170 per point
Polynesian$250 per point
Riviera$201 per point
Saratoga Springs$180 per point
Vero Beach$125 per point
*Pricing does not reflect active incentives offered by Disney Vacation Club.

These amounts are all well above the average sales prices that can be paid by purchasing a Disney Vacation Club contract on the DVC resale market.

  • I totally have been saying for over a year, Riviera’s pricing/point chart is the start of a new price hike that is going to be shocking. Prices on moderates aren’t that low, either, so no surprise they’re jacking up the prices on deluxe. Now they need to renovate GF and BC to make the deluxe prices warranted!

I definitely think CA DVC will be starting presale at $250 with an opening bid at $300.

  • This is really ridiculous! Wow I am so glad I have my 250 points before all this started!

  • I agree. I think DLT will start at $250-$275pp with no incentives. Since most of the rooms will be studios, people will only look to buy small 50 point contracts so they could exclusively use it at DLT, which will make the resale restrictions moot. We’ll played Disney. We’ll played.

  • Spoke with a DVC guide today, and the points are indeed about to increase!

  • We were hoping to buy in the next year or so but it does seem like disney is really pricing people our of being able to go. Were hoping to buy from Disney and later some from resale but may go the resale route entirely now… even resale prices are up now.

  • Glad I got my 100 points I had been dreaming of for years during the shutdown. $207pp doesn’t sound too bad now.

  • WOW. I Only bought a year ago and already am thinking I should have bought 300 pts instead of 200.

  • Got my original points direct for CCV but definitely looking at going resale to get some more. Already get the benefits with my original points so now its just more days I’m looking for.
