It’s been several months since we’ve talked about the Disneyland Hotel DVC Tower, but that doesn’t mean that things haven’t been moving forward with this highly anticipated addition to the Disney Vacation Club line-up.
Construction has already started on this previously announced 350-room Disney Vacation Club tower proposed for the Disneyland Hotel. As part of the hotel’s reopening on Friday, Disney added the following language to the resort’s website:
“It is possible you may see and hear construction as we build a new Disney Vacation Club property. To minimize any disruptions, activities that may create noise will not start earlier than 9:00 AM.“Disneyland Resort Website
Back in May, Twitter user @MagicAndWalnut shared a few images of the initial demolition being performed to clear the way for the new DVC tower.
As we reported previously, this 12-story tower is expected to include a variety of room accommodations, including smaller two-person studio villas, similar to the Tower Studio properties that are featured at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Proposed plans suggest that the resort will feature 271 Deluxe Studios, 38 smaller ‘Tower Studio’ style rooms, 19 One-Bedroom Villas, 20 Two-Bedroom Villas, and 2 Grand Villas.
The news of this construction continuing is a nice consolation a short time after learning that Disneyland Hotel’s beloved Steakhouse 55 will not be reopening.
