A few weeks ago, I made a quick joke in the DVC Fan Facebook group about earning our Disney World DVC badge. This was because we had finally stayed at our last Disney Vacation Club resort located on Walt Disney World property. Let’s be honest, there isn’t anyone on Disney property handing out badges when you finally check into the last resort on your DVC bucket list. It’s just a figure of speech to feel a sense of pride. After all, it’s pretty cool to have the experience of staying in as many DVC resorts as possible. Plus, getting into some of these resorts takes some level of persistence and technological acrobatics. Once you get past the disdain you feel for a computer image of the Seven Dwarves or Stich who randomly eats pages, you will eventually find that you’ve made quite an accomplishment. Many in the group agreed with me that something to commemorate these momentous occasions would be nice. So without further delay, I present to you the DVC Fan virtual badges. Feel free to save them, display them, wear them, print them, turn them into coasters, coffee mugs, or whatever brings you joy.
Disclaimer: DVC Fan virtual badges earned are yours to keep. Despite the addition of new future resorts, you will be grandfathered in. DVC Fan will not ask you to surrender your badges at any time nor any benefits and discounts associated with these badges.

Disney World Badge

The Disney World Badge is earned by completing stays at all Walt Disney World DVC Resorts. This includes every resort that is currently a separate booking category on the member site. These resorts include the following:
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Bay Lake at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins
- Boulder Ridge Villas
- Animal Kingdom Villas: Jambo House
- Animal Kingdom Villas: Kidani Village
- Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
East Coast Badge

The East Coast Badge is accomplished by completing stays at all Walt Disney World Resorts as well as the two other DVC resorts located near the east coast. This includes:
West Coast Badge

The west coast badge has only two resorts. While it may seem easier for that reason, for those of us living more to the east, this badge can be a challenge to achieve. You must complete stays at both west coast Disney resorts. Before we know it, there will be a new resort added to these ranks. For now, the west coast resorts are:
DVC Master Badge

Perhaps the most coveted of all the badges is the DVC Master Badge. This means you have completed a stay at every DVC resort. You will have earned all four prior badges before receiving the master badge. You may opt to wear a crown with this badge, but that’s optional.
There you have it, the official DVC Fan Badges. Display them proudly. Show them off to your friends. Show us in the comments or in the DVC Fan Facebook group what you have earned. Let us know what badges you would like to see next!
Woohoo! I got the West Coast badge already. Of course, I may never earn the Disney World badge because the family complains when we stay anywhere at Disney World other than the Beach Club Villas!
This is great fun… Thanks, Amy. We’ve got some “Welcome Home”-ing to do… 😉
