Join Amy and Paul for a tour of a newly refurbished Deluxe Studio Villa at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows!
After a little more inspection last night, we realized Pago Pago is the only DVC longhouse currently open. Moorea and Tokelau are both blocked off and closed. Anyone with reservations coming up very soon at the Polynesian Villas for a studio has either already been moved to the hotel side or will receive a refurbished room. The bungalows appear to be among the first rooms completed. With this many DVC rooms currently out of access, it is reasonable to believe they will have them all completed and reopened in time for the 50th-anniversary celebration. If you would like to check out our June Polynesian studio tour to view the original studio, check it out here.
We are staying at Poly in mid October . Will the preferred view villas be complete by Oct 16?
All villas are expected to be complete by the 50th anniversary.
Paul and Amy, just love your live visits to the DVC resorts. The Poly Villa’s look amazing. I love the color schemes and nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee to start your morning or with a glass of wine in the evening seeing the castle, fireworks or hearing the horn of the boats. So looking forward to our October Food and Wine trip and leaving Pittsburgh behind for a week.
