  • Third time was a charm on our first resale contract, so we are well acquainted with the ROFR monster. I wonder if Disney is sitting on the buybacks so that they can push their resorts that they are actively selling a little more and also, when the time is right, make them available again at an even higher price?

  • Buying resale is playing chicken with Disney. I generally start with DISBoards ROFR list to get an idea of just how low I can go on a contract offer in the 200 point range with December UY. The only ROFR scare we had was a miscommunication with our agent for a BLT contract offer that was $5pp below what we planned, We were sure the contract would be taken. Later at closing we discovered the sellers were international. All that worry over nothing.
