Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is furthering its partnership with Interval International with a new online hotel booking tool. This new option will replace the existing Concierge Collection that previously provided a wide range of exchange accommodation options. DVC Members will now have access to Interval’s extensive network of hotels and resorts worldwide.
Disney Vacation Club made this announcement in an email from Senior Vice President and General Manager, Bill Diercksen:
“Dear Disney Vacation Club Member,
Today we’re excited to share that Disney Vacation Club® is officially launching a new hotel-booking tool through Interval International®. This new option represents a dramatic expansion of vacation and exchange possibilities, adding even more power to eligible Members’* points and giving you more vacation options than ever before!
Beginning on Monday, this online, self-service tool will curate a list of properties using a combination of points** and cash. Hotel exchange features hundreds and hundreds of well-known hotels from trusted brands in sought-out cities across New York City, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, London and many more! Members can even search available hotels by desired travel dates and destination, filter by brand, and calculate required vacation points.
While the previously offered exchange accommodations through Concierge Collection will no longer be available, most of the luxury resorts that were part of the collection are offered within this new hotel exchange.
Please note that confirmed Concierge Collection reservations will be honored.
We’re delighted to continue to provide you and your family with a whole new world of vacation possibilities!
Sincerely,
Bill
DVC members will now be able to book hotel rooms through Interval’s online booking system. This system offers a convenient way to search for available rooms and compare prices from different hotels. The partnership between DVC and Interval International provides members with greater flexibility and choice when booking hotel rooms.
I had the opportunity this past weekend to play around on the site, and while I still feel you are better off renting your DVC points and paying cash for other accommodations, there are some really great deals available! I’m not sure I would ever use points to book within this system, but the cash Getaways and ShortStay Getaway options should not be ignored.

Amy and I have been considering a trip to Branson, Missouri, to visit Silver Dollar City in the near future and I was shocked to see that I could book at Marriott’s Willow Ridge Lodge for as low as $58.14 per night. Direct through Marriott, this resort typically runs around $175-200 per night or more. You’ll have to be booking last-minute to get some of the best offers out there, but this is definitely a wonderful new value for DVC Members.
Please note that access to the hotel exchange and Interval International options is considered Disney Vacation Club “Membership Magic” and is only available for direct members with a valid membership that is eligible for Membership Extras.
