Amy and I are new Orlando, Florida residents where we live with our dogs Odie the greyhound and Hermès the Spanish galgo. We are DVC owners at Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk Villas, Grand Californian, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian, Disney World Annual Passholders, and love educating Disney Vacation Club members on how to both use and maximize the value of their DVC points!

  • I am booked into a 2 bedroom at Bay Lake in May. After watching this I thought I would check if there is availability at other resorts. Have been watching the circle spin for 30 minutes just to check availability.

  • Not just DVC, but Disney in general. If you ever read Keys the Kingdom – a great book – you will see that Disney has slipped considerably.. I know it is a business, but Disney is no longer customer focused, but profit focused. I am sure they made more money percentage wise when they were customer focused.

  • I too have seen a decline in room “Disney Feel”, Funiture is utilitarian, and the lighting is common. Where are the Disney pictures/prints on the walls? Where are the Disney touches? Bay Lake Tower should be, by definition is modern. It lacks Disney modern motif.

  • Slipping? It already fell down and can’t get up. Maybe Disney needs “Life Alert”.
