Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool Set for Refurbishment in 2025

Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are set to undergo routine maintenance starting from January through May 2025. This temporary closure will allow for enhancements to these beloved water areas and ensure they continue to provide the best experiences for Members and Guests.

Disney stated in their announcement:

In an effort to continually enhance the Guest experience, we refresh our offerings from time to time. From January 2025 through May 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours.

During this time, Guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools.

What’s Changing?

The refurbishment will address key areas within Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool. Guests may notice some construction work during daytime hours as refurbishment is ongoing.

Beach Club Swimming Alternatives

Wondering where to take a refreshing dip during this period? While Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool are being refreshed, guests are encouraged to make a splash at the Tidal, Admiral, and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
