Today we are celebrating Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, which became the third Disney Vacation Club property on March 1st, 1996!
Located on the South Carolina coast, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort provides the perfect beach-side getaway for families looking to use their Disney Vacation Club points away from Walt Disney World.
As part of today’s celebration, Disney Parks Blog shared the story of resort General Manager Jerome Smith, who has spent over nine as a cast member at Hilton Head. Spending his entire career in the hospitality industry, Jerome quickly impressed resort management when joining the Hilton Head team in 2012 as food and beverage manager. Now, as the resort’s general manager, Jerome’s goal is to ensure that through the work he and other cast members are doing, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort can continue to provide excellent service to members and their guests and ensure magical vacations for the next twenty-five years.
Disney Parks Blog also provided a special digital background to celebrate this milestone that you can use as a backdrop for your next virtual meeting or as your computer wallpaper.

March 1, 2021We stayed there for the first time last Sept. It was our first time to Hilton Head as well. We loved Hilton Head, but what really sold us was the resort. I can’t even tell you why, but there is something about the place that is just special. I could just sit and watch the marsh for hours on end and be happy.
So much so that even though we had sworn we were done adding on to our membership, we now are in the ROFR stage of a Hilton Head contract 😎.
