It’s that time of the year again when the magic of Disney gets a spooky twist, and Disney Vacation Club has just announced a special Halloween Member Event to get you ready for this ghoulish season!
This event takes place on select nights inside the Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney’s BoardWalk, where members can pose for festive photos with their favorite Disney Characters, all dressed up in their Halloween best. What’s more? There’s a sweet treat in store for everyone attending this complimentary event, presented as part of Membership Magic.
Now, if you’ve been a part of our DVC Fan community for a while, you might remember that Amy and I had the pleasure of attending last year’s event, fondly dubbed the DVC Halloween “Meet & Treat”.
Disney characters like Goofy, Oogie Boogie, The Wicked Witch, and The Evil Queen were on hand in their holiday best. Cast Members were also there to capture these magical moments on our personal camera or cellphone.
DVC Members attending also received a special light-up bracelet and a commemorative DVC popcorn bucket (the same ones from Moonlight Magic) filled with flavorful multicolored popcorn.
I wish I could tell you how delicious the popcorn was, but alas, in my excitement, I managed to spill it all over the Boardwalk moments after receiving it!
Event Details
- Event Dates: The event will be held on six different dates, allowing as many members as possible to partake in the fun. Mark your calendars for September 25, 26, October 9, 10, 30, and 31, 2023. Remember, only one event date will be available per Membership.
- Event Hours: The spooktacular fun will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
- Eligibility: This event is open to DVC Members who purchased directly from Disney and are eligible for Membership Extras benefits. Members must also have a qualifying reservation at a Disney-owned-and-operated hotel at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort.
- Party Size Limit: A Member can attend and bring up to 4 additional Guests per Membership (for a total of 5).
- Location: The Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s BoardWalk, at Walt Disney World Resort.
- Parking: Please note there is no Resort parking for this event. Members are strongly encouraged to use Walt Disney World Resort transportation.
Important Reminders:
- No event registration is required.
- A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.
- Admission is subject to capacity limits and attendees younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
- Costumes are welcome, but not required.
- Event dates are subject to change or cancellation.
- Treat options are subject to change.
