The official floor plan and new concept art for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort have been unveiled! Buckle up because we’re about to take you on a virtual tour of these amazing cabins.
1. A Cabin That Sleeps Six
First things first, let’s talk about space. The cabins are designed to accommodate up to six guests comfortably. With one queen bed, one queen-size pull-down bed, and one bunk bed, your entire crew can enjoy a cozy night’s sleep after a fun-filled day at the parks.

2. Amenities Galore
Each cabin is equipped with all the comforts of home (and then some!). From Flat-Screen Smart TVs for your favorite Disney+ binge sessions to a shower and bathtub combo with a split bathroom, every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
And that’s not all. You’ll also find a fully-equipped kitchen for whipping up meals and snacks. Plus, each cabin features a porch with a picnic table and chairs – perfect for soaking in those serene forest views.
3. A Peek Inside the Murphy Bed
The new concept art has given us our first glimpse inside the Murphy Bed, and it’s pure Disney magic. Picture this: Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale all sound asleep outside their camper at Fort Wilderness. It’s these charming touches that make Disney Vacation Club properties so special.

4. A Bathroom Built for Families
Another exciting reveal from the concept art is the bathroom area. Designed with families in mind, it features a split sink area. This means someone can continue to get ready for a day at the parks while others shower and use the main restroom area. Talk about convenience!

5. Important Dates to Remember
Mark your calendars, DVC Fans! The cabins will go on sale February 1, 2024. And if you’re a member planning to add-on, you’ll be able to book as early as February 15th. The cabins are projected to open their doors as early as July 1, 2024.
There’s so much more to come with The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Join us LIVE – Tonight Tuesday January 16th at 7:00pm, EST to unpack all the details of this big reveal! As always, stay tuned to DVCFan.com for more updates as they become available and join in the conversation over in the DVC Fan Facebook Group. January 16, 2024Why in the Hell would they put the bathroom on the opposite side of the cabins away from the bedrooms? Do you really want to walk through the kitchen in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom??? Or if people are sitting in the living room and your’re in the bathroom and you take a shower and have to walk past the kitchen and living room to get to the bedrooms? What the heck were they thinking????

January 16, 2024Very good point. I guess not every detail has been “thoughtfully considered”.
