At its heart, DVC Fan is a community built by Disney Vacation Club Members, for Disney Vacation Club Members. Our mission is simple: to share honest, real experiences about Disney Vacation Club ownership and the magic of Disney vacations. From weekly discussions on The DVC Show podcast and YouTube channel, to in-depth articles, resort reviews, and community events, we aim to be the go-to resource for both longtime Members and those just starting their DVC journey.

What makes DVC Fan unique is the people behind it. Fellow Members who love Disney as much as you do. We believe in giving you the unfiltered truth about DVC: the perks, the challenges, and everything in between. Beyond the content, our active Facebook group and social channels provide a welcoming space for fans to connect, ask questions, and share their own Disney stories. Whether you’re here to learn, laugh, or dream up your next trip, you’re part of the DVC Fan family.

Our Team

Amy Krieger

Amy loves Disney theme parks, resorts, and the beloved films. She and her husband, Paul, are originally from West Virginia (near Pittsburgh, PA). They now live in Central Florida with their Spanish galgos, Hermes, Cinders, and Emerson. As DVC members and WDW Annual Passholders, they visit Disney properties as often as possible.

Amy is the Manager of Loan Origination for Monera Financial, a Keyholder Vacations company, where she helps buyers finance DVC contracts.

Amy and Paul own DVC at some of their favorite resorts: BoardWalk, Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom, Polynesian, and Grand Californian. Another passion for them is cruising. They love both Disney and Royal Caribbean cruises. It’s a great way to travel and see parts of the world.

Paul Krieger

Paul Krieger lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Amy, and their three Spanish galgos, Hermès, Cinders, and Emerson. Together, they are proud Disney Vacation Club Members at Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Grand Californian, as well as Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Whether they’re enjoying the parks, discovering new dining spots around EPCOT, or planning their next Disney adventure, Paul and Amy are always looking for new ways to maximize their DVC points.

As Senior Editor of DVCFan.com, Paul has spent years educating fellow Members and helping them get the most out of their memberships. A graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Master’s in Business Administration, Paul previously served as the financial director of a large ophthalmology practice before joining the DVC Rental Store team. His passion for Disney and DVC shines through in his writing, videos, and community engagement.

When he’s not exploring the resorts, Paul enjoys cooking (with Alton Brown as a culinary muse), training for runDisney races with Amy, and blasting Billy Joel in the background. His favorite Disney film is WALL-E, and just like his beloved character, he’s always ready for the next big adventure.

Jeff Haslam

Jeff Haslam spent most of his life in Utah, where he was born and raised. He spent several years as a police officer and youth advisor before moving into a career in real estate appraising and consulting.

Jeff’s family began to travel every other year to Disneyland when he was about three years old, a tradition that continued throughout his childhood, igniting his love for Disney Parks and animated films, which was further solidified by his first trip to Walt Disney World in 2005.

Jeff and his girlfriend Amy relocated to Florida in 2023 to escape the snow, cold weather, and to be closer to Disney. Jeff has enjoyed learning how to create content and videos and is thrilled to be part of the DVC Fan family. He adores meeting members of the group and fans of the show.

Derek DeBoer

Derek began his Disney career in 1999, in Chicago as the Marketing Manager with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts.

In 2007, Derek joined Disney Vacation Club (DVC) as part of the pioneering team at Doorway to Dreams, DVC’s preview center located outside of Chicago. There, he was the top performer each year and the lead presenter for signature live events.

In 2014, Derek joined the DVC Cruise team, where he continued his strong performance. As a DVC Cruise Team Member, he was chosen to present on multiple DVC Member Cruises as well as provide coaching and training to new DVC Cast Members. Over the years, Derek has received numerous awards for his performance, including the prestigious Leadership Circle and multiple Partners in Excellence nominations.

Derek and his wife Anne are the proud parents of Owen and Connor and live in downtown Windermere, Florida. DVC members since 1999, Derek’s favorite Disney memory was having his high school sweetheart, Annie, say “I do” back in 1996 at their wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion.

Lauren De La Cruz

Lauren De La Cruz is a lifelong Disney World fan who is happy to call Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa “home,” though she is particularly fond of the Crescent Lake area.

She loves learning and writing about all things DVC, trying Disney eats and treats, and re-discovering Disney World through the eyes of her young son.

Originally from New York, Lauren now resides in Florida with her husband and son and is a Disney World Annual Passholder.
