UPDATE 7/10/2025: In a new wave of emails, eligible DVC Members with a home address near Walt Disney World are being invited to participate in an exclusive Member Preview of the reimagined attraction. This newly added opportunity is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, with staggered preview times throughout the day.
The event allows each eligible Member to bring up to 4 additional guests per Membership (for a total party size of 5). As with previous previews, valid EPCOT theme park admission and a park reservation (if required) will be needed to attend. Be sure to check your inbox if you’re a local Member!
Get ready to buckle up, DVC Members! Disney Vacation Club has just announced an exciting exclusive Member preview opportunity for the all-new Test Track presented by General Motors, reopening at EPCOT later this summer.
As part of this special direct Member benefit, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members will have the chance to be among the first guests to experience the reimagined attraction before it officially opens to the public.
Preview Date
July 12, 2025 – This Member-exclusive preview is one day only, so mark your calendar!
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this preview event, Members must:
- Have a valid Disney Vacation Club Membership eligible for Membership Extras (i.e., direct purchases or grandfathered eligibility).
- Hold a confirmed Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation made before July 6, 2025.
- Be using their eligible Membership on the preview date, July 12, 2025.
Registration Opens
Registration for the preview opens on July 8th, 2025, and will be available via a link sent to eligible Members. Be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox for full registration details.
Not a DVC Member or Unable to Attend the Preview?
Don’t worry—Annual Passholders will also have a chance to experience the reimagined Test Track before its official reopening. Annual Passholder previews are scheduled to take place July 13–19, 2025 (excluding July 17).
Passholders can join a 7:00 a.m. virtual queue with an EPCOT park reservation or try again at 1:00 p.m., when a second virtual queue opportunity will be available to all Passholders, regardless of park reservation status.
Test Track Officially Reopens July 22, 2025
For those unable to attend the Disney Vacation Club or Annual Passholder previews, the grand reopening of Test Track at EPCOT is set for July 22, 2025. On this date, the updated attraction will officially welcome all EPCOT guests to experience its new vision, storytelling, and technology.
When it opens, Test Track will be included as a Tier 1 attraction in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass system, alongside Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This means guests using Multi Pass during their pre-planning phase will only be able to select one of these three high-demand experiences. Soarin’ Around the World will move to Tier 2, offering more flexibility when selecting additional attractions.
Be sure to plan ahead with park reservations and utilize the virtual queue system or Lightning Lane options, as this will undoubtedly be one of the most popular rides in the park this summer!
