Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has once again solidified its place among Florida’s finest dining destinations, having officially retained its Michelin Star in the 2025 Michelin Guide Ceremony held last night. This marks another year of culinary excellence for the premier fine dining experience at Walt Disney World.
Led by Chef de Cuisine Matthew Sowers and Maître d’Hôtel Israel Pérez (who was honored with the 2024 Florida Service Award), Victoria & Albert’s continues to wow guests with its seasonal tasting menus. Each dish is a refined presentation of modern American cuisine influenced by global flavors, paired with an award-winning wine list of over 500 selections representing 35 wine regions.
Guests can choose between three luxurious dining settings:
- The Dining Room, adorned with Victorian elegance
- Queen Victoria’s Room, offering an expanded tasting menu in an intimate setting
- The Chef’s Table, where guests are treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary artistry in action
Victoria & Albert’s has long been the pinnacle of fine dining at Walt Disney World, holding honors such as the AAA Five Diamond Award (since 2000), Forbes Travel Guide Five Star (since 2018), Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and Florida Trend’s Golden Spoon Hall of Fame – American Regional. The restaurant’s Michelin Star recognition adds yet another prestigious accolade to its impressive legacy.
Orlando’s Dining Scene Continues to Shine
While Victoria & Albert’s continues to lead the way within the Disney bubble, Orlando’s food scene is turning heads beyond the parks as well. The city now celebrates a Two Star Michelin restaurant: Sorekara, an intimate and inventive Japanese chef’s counter located in Baldwin Park.
Helmed by Chef/Owner William Shen, Sorekara offers a whimsical tasting menu that pays homage to Japan’s 72 micro seasons. Courses unfold like a story—complete with surprises like a nod to a 7-Eleven snack run—and take guests through multiple rooms over several hours. It’s a dining experience that redefines expectations and secures Orlando’s position on the map of serious culinary destinations.

Also nearby in the Disney area is One Star Michelin restaurant: Capa, the stunning rooftop steakhouse at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. Known for its dramatic ambiance and unbeatable views of Walt Disney World’s nightly fireworks, Capa continues to earn praise from critics and guests alike.

April 18, 2025We have been there 3 times, also with our young daughter several years ago. We looked forward to visiting again sometime. Always a top notch experience ❤️

April 18, 2025They deserved it years ago, but on or 22 reservation last fall we will never be going back, the food was average when you compare it to the food they served before the extended shut down. Our service was also lacking. We used to be greeted by Israel like he was happy we were back, i think they cared and saw you were returning guest, I understand some of it is show, but this last trip there it was like here is your table do you like our new look and that was it.
So I am not sure how Michelin really makes their decision but they missed by not awarding this award when they really deserved it.
