Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has officially announced the dates and full schedule for the 2025 Annual Resort Association Board & Member Meetings. These meetings will take place Tuesday, December 9 through Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Unlike previous years, DVC has confirmed there will not be a Member Gathering or Reception following the association meetings. Instead, once the meetings conclude, Members are welcome to enjoy their day at Walt Disney World or beyond.

Note: These meetings are specific to the Home Resort(s) you own. Only owners on the deed may attend. During these meetings, the Board of Directors will officially approve the proposed budget for the upcoming year, as well as host an open Q&A for owners.
Member Gathering & Reception
Unlike last year, DVC will not be holding a Member Gathering or Reception after the conclusion of the Board Meetings. According to the official event FAQ:
“In 2024, we showcased Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and The Cabins. For 2025, association meetings will take place on December 9th and 10th, 2025. Once the meetings are adjourned, Members are free to enjoy their day as they choose.”
While the 2024 reception included sneak peeks and resort tours, the 2025 meetings will focus solely on budget approval, Board updates, and Member Q&A. While we’ll miss the chance to gather with fellow Members in a more casual setting, these meetings still provide vital transparency and the opportunity for direct engagement with DVC leadership.
Last year, following the Member Gathering, attendees were treated to an exclusive tour of the Polynesian Island Tower, ahead of its official grand opening.
Why the Format Matters & What to Expect
Even without a Member Reception, these annual meetings remain essential. In 2024 and 2025, Florida law changes affected how DVC (and other condominium associations) manage their governance. The current format allows:
- Focused, resort-specific meetings where Members can discuss their home property directly with leadership.
- Streamlined governance that meets legal obligations while keeping the schedule compact and Member-friendly.
And yes, we’re still hoping to hear something new about the upcoming Disney Lakeshore Lodge — even if it comes between the lines!
