Bay Lake Tower Buying and Selling DVC News and Updates

Limited Time DVC Member Add-On: Bay Lake Tower Flash Sale Announced Through April 27th

Disney Vacation Club has quietly introduced a last-minute flash sale for Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort this incentive cycle, giving existing Members a limited window to add on points with a developer credit. This new incentive runs alongside the current Winter/Early Spring 2026 offers and only available through April 27th, 2026, making it one of the shortest promotional windows we’ve seen this year.

Here’s what DVC Fan has confirmed so far and how this deal stacks up against the resale market!

What Is the Bay Lake Tower Flash Sale?

The Bay Lake Tower incentive is structured as a tiered per-point credit, improving as you purchase more points. According to the official pricing sheet , pricing starts at $275 per point, with incentives ranging up to $45 per point.

Key Incentive Tiers (Existing Members)

  • 100-124 points: $25 per point discount
  • 125-149 points: $35 per point discount
  • 150–199 points: $40 per point discount
  • 200+ points: $45 per point discount (max tier)

At the highest tier, a 200-point contract drops from $55,000 to about $46,000 after incentives.

Important Details

  • Offer began April 7th, 2026
  • Must complete a sales tour to qualify
  • Must purchase by April 27th, 2026
  • Cannot be combined with certain other offers

How Does This Compare to DVC Resale Prices?

This is where things get interesting and frankly, difficult to justify financially.

The current average resale price for Bay Lake Tower sits around $138 per point, a massive gap compared to direct pricing even after incentives.

Direct vs Resale Comparison

Purchase TypePrice Per PointTotal (200 pts)
Direct (with max incentive)~$230/pt~$46,000
Resale Market~$138/pt~$27,600

That is a difference of roughly $18,000+ for the same number of points.

Even factoring in perks like Membership Extras, that is a steep premium to pay.

How Does This Compare to Other Current DVC Incentives?

As we covered in our full breakdown of Winter/Early Spring offers , Disney is currently pushing several newer resorts with more aggressive pricing:

In many cases, these resorts offer:

  • Lower effective price per point after incentives
  • Longer contract expiration dates
  • Better availability

Why That Matters

If you are already considering buying direct for perks, these resorts often:

  • Provide better long-term value
  • Require less upfront premium vs resale
  • Come with newer inventory and longer usage windows

Compared to those options, Bay Lake Tower:

  • Has a 2060 expiration date
  • Still carries a high direct price even with incentives
  • Offers limited upside beyond location and legacy appeal

Is This Bay Lake Tower Deal Worth It?

The Honest Take

For most buyers, this flash sale is hard to justify purely on numbers.

Even at the best incentive tier:

  • You are still paying a significant premium over resale
  • You are not getting the strongest incentives available in the current market
  • You are locking into a shorter contract than newer resorts

When It Might Make Sense

This deal could appeal if:

  • You specifically want Bay Lake Tower for its walkability to Magic Kingdom
  • You strongly value direct benefits like Membership Extras
  • You prefer buying directly from Disney regardless of cost

Otherwise, the math leans heavily toward resale or even other direct resorts.

What You Need to Know

  • Flash sale runs through April 27th, 2026
  • Max incentive is $45 per point at 200+ points
  • Effective direct price still far exceeds resale averages
  • Competing direct incentives at Riviera, Polynesian, and Fort Wilderness may offer better value

This Bay Lake Tower flash sale feels less like a game-changing opportunity and more like a targeted push to move some points quickly by Disney Vacation Club.

While it is always notable when Disney introduces last-minute offers, this one does not meaningfully close the gap with resale pricing. And when compared to current incentives at newer resorts, it becomes even harder to recommend from a value perspective.

If you have been waiting specifically for Bay Lake Tower, this may be your moment. But if you are flexible, there are simply stronger options available right now.
