Update 10/27/2020: Refurbishment has been extended through the end of 2020 as they work to replace and retheme the Keister Coaster’s clown facade. Reports from Cast Members at the resort have alluded to the slide now getting a Mickey and Friends theme.
If you were hoping to shoot out of a clown-themed waterslide this October at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, think again. An update provided on Disney’s website earlier today indicates that the Keister Coaster waterslide at Luna Park Pool will be unavailable from October 5th through October 30th due to refurbishment.
Work will be primarily focused on the waterslide and its surrounding area. Disney has noted that work in the pool area itself will continue through November. This refurbishment will not affect the Luna Park Pool itself or the other leisure pools at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, which will remain open. Dates are subject to change.
We hope that this refurbishment does not anger the clown or else the Nanny Chairs may attack.
