DVC Villas with an Extra Shower or Bathroom

A major advantage of DVC villas versus regular hotel rooms is the extra space.  That goes for both the square footage as well as additional amenities.  While DVC villas have either a kitchenette or full kitchen, did you know that some of them also have an extra shower or a full bathroom?

DVC Villas with an Extra Shower

Deluxe Studios among the DVC resorts have either a shower or a shower/tub combo.  However, a few feature an extra shower.  You’ll find the additional shower in the Deluxe Studios at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Riviera.  These studios have a split bathroom layout; one side has a shower/tub combo and toilet, and the other side of the bathroom has a shower and sink.

This also means that any Two Bedroom Lock-Off Villas at the Grand Floridian and Riviera will have an extra shower since they are made up of a One Bedroom Villa connected to an adjoining Deluxe Studio.  (Note that the Polynesian does not offer Two Bedroom Villas other than the Bungalows though this can change with the upcoming Polynesian tower.)

DVC Villas with an Extra Full Bathroom

For One Bedroom Villas and larger units, the villas typically have one full bathroom for every bedroom.  That is, a One Bedroom Villa will have one full bathroom, a Two Bedroom Villa has two bathrooms, etc.  With the One Bedroom Villas and larger units at Bay Lake Tower, Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Grand Calfornian, and the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, you’ll find an extra full bathroom, so there are two bathrooms in the One Bedroom Villa, three bathrooms in the Two Bedroom Villa, and four bathrooms in the Three Bedroom Grand Villa.

Having an extra shower or bathroom in your DVC villa is so convenient.  With more places to get ready for the day, you can get out the door and into the parks more quickly!
