Lakeshore Lodge Construction Update – October 2025

Thanks to aerial photography from Bioreconstruct, we now have a detailed look at Disney’s upcoming Lakeshore Lodge project. Additionally, it’s clear from the images this resort will be massive. Located on the grounds of Disney’s Fort Wilderness, the scale of the development is immediately apparent in the latest images.

In the photo above and below, you can see just how close Lakeshore Lodge is to several Fort Wilderness landmarks. Also, you can see it’s proximity the complex housing Pioneer Hall and Trail’s End to the left. Tri-Circle-D Ranch is positioned just behind the hotel. The resort itself is designed in a horseshoe shape reminiscent of Kidani Village, featuring two distinct outcoves.

In the right outcove (when looking from the water), Bay Lake wraps in closely to the resort’s edge, providing what will likely be stunning waterfront views.

The left outcove offers a glimpse of what appears to be the early stages of the resort’s pool area. This includes the highly anticipated lazy river. From the aerial perspective, this lazy river looks substantial. It looks like fan-favorite Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort has competition. A zero-entry pool can also be seen nearby.

Along the shoreline, the A-frame structures of the lakeside cabins are now visible, extending well into Fort Wilderness territory. Their placement raises intriguing questions about how integrated Lakeshore Lodge will be with the existing Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

We’d love to know your thoughts on what you think of the latest images. We are excited for this new resort as it feels like it will be a destination in itself.
