Disney Dining General DVC Vero Beach

Discovering Ocean Grill near Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

If you’re searching for a dining experience that consistently delivers excellence near Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Ocean Grill is the place to go. Nestled by the seaside, this restaurant is a true gem in Vero Beach, offering not just great food but also a unique atmosphere and impeccable service. Let’s explore all the reasons why Ocean Grill should be on your must-visit list when in the area.

A Unique Ambiance by the Sea

Ocean Grill is a delightful blend of eclectic and seaside charm with a touch of gothic decor. This restaurant exudes character, making it a standout spot in Vero Beach. Imagine enjoying your meal with a spectacular ocean view—the front room seating offers just that. The restaurant takes its decor seriously, especially during the Halloween and Christmas seasons, when it goes all out with decorations.

Top-Notch Service You’ll Love

Service at Ocean Grill has been commendable on every visit. The staff are attentive, offering great suggestions and ensuring your water glass never dips below half full. The white tablecloths are kept crumb-free between courses, adding a touch of elegance. Despite the fancy service, the restaurant maintains a casual vibe, allowing you to enjoy your meal in comfortable, everyday attire. Plus, the complimentary crackers, bread, and blue cheese dip are reason enough to keep coming back.

A Culinary Adventure for Every Palate

Ocean Grill offers a diverse menu that caters to every palate. Seafood lovers, in particular, are in for a treat. With frequent visits, we’ve sampled many dishes, and each time the experience has been a delight. A must-try is their tossed salad with house-made dressings like Roquefort and creamy dill.

Paul loves the fresh fish specials, while I often opt for crab-centric dishes. The crab cakes and crab au gratin are consistently amazing. Recently, Paul enjoyed a Florida Stuffed Lobster special, perfectly cooked and served with drawn butter. Meanwhile, I savored the crab cakes, broiled to perfection and accompanied by a delightful mango salsa.

Indulge in Delectable Desserts

After a satisfying meal, Ocean Grill presents a dessert tray showcasing real versions of their sweet offerings. From cheesecake to blueberry cobbler, crème brûlée, and more, it’s hard not to indulge. During our last visit, we shared tiramisu and pecan pie. The tiramisu melted in our mouths, and the warm pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was packed with flavor.

What to Expect in Terms of Pricing

Dining at Ocean Grill aligns with what you’d expect from a seafood restaurant located right by the ocean. The quality of food and service justifies the pricing. For instance, the crab cakes are priced at $46, including two sides. It’s worth every penny for the experience you’ll have. Full menu and pricing can be found on their website: https://www.ocean-grill.com/menus/.

Reservation Tips for a Seamless Experience

Ocean Grill has a unique reservation policy. They only take reservations for parties of five or more, which can be made by calling 772-231-5409. If you’re a smaller group, arrive early to secure a spot. They open at 5 PM, but begin taking names in the lobby at 4 PM. Arriving around 4:30 PM allowed us to be seated shortly after opening during our visit.
