DVC Announces First Quarterly Condo Association Meetings for 2025

DVC Condo Association Meeting

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has officially announced the first round of quarterly condo association meetings for 2025, marking the continued implementation of a new format and frequency introduced last year. These quarterly board meetings replace the previous single annual meeting, giving Members four opportunities each year to stay informed about the latest updates at their Home Resorts.

Q1 2025 DVC Condo Association Meetings – Date & Location

The first quarterly condo association meetings of 2025 will take place on:

Date: Wednesday, March 5, 2025
Location: Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Convention Center

DVC Members must RSVP by March 3, 2025, and meeting times for each individual resort association are included in the RSVP link. Keep in mind that attendance is limited to Members who own at a specific resort, and guests are not permitted to attend these meetings.

Why Are These Meetings Happening?

These meetings are part of a shift in how DVC condominium associations operate, following 2024 Florida legislation that introduced new requirements for managing condominium associations across the state.

The quarterly format provides Members with:
– More frequent updates on resort operations
– A chance to ask questions directly to DVC leadership
– Increased transparency and engagement with resort boards

Meeting Agenda

Members attending these meetings can expect a structured agenda, including:

  1. Call to Order
  2. Declaration of Chairperson of the Meeting
  3. Calling of the Roll
  4. Verification of Quorum
  5. Proof of Notice of Meeting
  6. Approval of December 2024 Meeting Minutes
  7. Resort Updates – Key developments at each resort
  8. Question & Answer Session with the Board of Directors
  9. Adjournment

How to Stay Engaged Beyond the Meetings

DVC Members who can’t attend the meetings still have multiple ways to stay involved and informed. The December Member reception will remain a key opportunity for engagement, and Members can also:

  • Contact Member Services
  • Send emails or requests through the Member website
  • Stay updated with DVC Fan coverage on meeting highlights

Does This Affect All DVC Resorts?

No. These changes only impact Florida-based DVC properties. Resorts outside of Florida—such as Aulani, Hilton Head, as well as The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort—are not affected by these legislative updates and will only have yearly meetings.

If you’re planning to attend, don’t forget to RSVP by March 3, 2025! What questions are you hoping to see covered in these meetings? Let us know in the comments!
