Walt Disney World Annual Passes Return for DVC Members

UPDATE 4/12/2023: Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can buy the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online beginning tomorrow, Thursday – April 13th, 2023. Online sales are expected to begin no earlier than 6:00 am, EST. It’s important to note that there might be limited availability for passes or certain pass types, and the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass may not always be available. However, this pass is expected to be on sale more frequently throughout the year for Disney Vacation Club Members, even when it is not widely available for purchase by Florida residents.

Walt Disney World Annual Pass sales are set to resume for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members on April 13th!

Today’s news came via an email to Disney Vacation Club Members from Bill Diercksen, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Disney Vacation Club and Aulani:

Dear Member,

We’ve received a lot of Member feedback about one topic in particular: Annual Passes. We’ve been listening and understand that for many Members, Annual Passes enhance their Disney experience. Today I’m pleased to share great news with you: new sales of all Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes will resume on April 20.

That alone is good news. But we have even better news to share. Eligible Members^* may purchase the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online starting April 13 – a full week before sales of all Annual Passes resume for all Guests. Passes or a pass type are subject to limited availability and may not be available at any given time. The DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass is expected to be on sale more often throughout the year, even when the pass is not broadly available for sale to Florida Residents.^**

I know our Members have a strong connection to our company, and am glad more of you will now have the opportunity to be part of the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family.

Disney Vacation Club Members will have early access to purchase the Disney World Sorcerer Pass before sales resume for all guests and pass types on April 20th. The Disney Sorcerer Pass is offered exclusively to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, providing admission to one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with advance park reservations. The pass can hold up to five reservations at a time and includes standard theme park parking. However, there are blockout dates during select holiday periods. Passholders can also save on select dining and receive up to 20% off in-store merchandise.

The resumption of DVC Annual Pass sales is a significant acknowledgment that many people become Disney Vacation Club Members because of the benefits of having an Annual Pass and visiting Walt Disney World regularly. An Annual Pass can provide substantial savings and convenience for frequent visitors to Disney theme parks. With access to multiple parks for an entire year, passholders can enjoy a variety of experiences without the added cost of purchasing tickets for each visit. Additionally, passholders receive discounts on food, merchandise, and special events. By recognizing the importance of the Annual Pass to its members, Disney Vacation Club is demonstrating a commitment to providing a valuable and enjoyable vacation experience for all.

Please note that the ability to purchase a DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass is considered a Disney Vacation Club “Membership Extra” and is only available for direct members with a valid membership that is eligible for Membership Extras.
