Walt Disney World DVC Resorts Opening June 22nd – Vero Beach and Hilton Head June 15th

Disney Vacation Club

As part of the plans announced by Disney today regarding the phased reopening Walt Disney World, Disney Vacation Club also shared opening dates for many of their resorts.

Disney Vacation Club resorts at Walt Disney World will open to members and guests on June 22. Additionally, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will open to members and guests starting on June 15.

No plans have been announced at this time regarding the reopening of The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa or Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa.

At this time, no further details have been released by Disney Vacation Club regarding the reopening. Availability through late-June and July is quickly becoming limited, with members scrambling to make reservation changes. Member Services is also experiencing high call volume.

This news is breaking, and updates will be posted as they are received. Stay tuned to DVC Fan, the DVC Fan Facebook Group, and The DIS for more information as it becomes available.

We have a 21st checkin at VGF. Wondering if they will cancel the whole week we have because of the 21st date, or allow us to come in the next day. Wasn’t planning on a staycation this trip but trying to keep positive.

For our WDW trip, stay at Poly. I was told that they would cancel the entire reservation if they were not open on check in. They would not do it day by day. They told me I would have to be looking for dates of opening and try to schedule accordingly.

Sort of makes sense. DVC vacation differently. Can take it or leave it plus know the rules and can adapt. However human nature can kick in. When deprived you want it more. Let’s see how it pans out. Interesting experiment
