Whether you plan to buy a contract directly through Disney or one through the resale market, you’ll want to get an idea of the different villa layouts. Even within the same room type, layouts and sometimes room capacities can vary from resort to resort. Visiting the models in person can give you a better sense of what works best for you and your travel party.
While seeing photos and watching room tours on YouTube helps, nothing beats actually visiting the rooms in person. Here is a list of where to go for tours during your next Disney World trip.
Resorts
Several of the DVC resorts allow you to visit model rooms. You can schedule a tour by visiting one of the Disney Vacation Club Discovery Desks, which you can find in many of the resorts or at the theme parks. The available tour times vary depending on which resort you would like to visit.

In the Town Center at Disney Springs, you’ll find the Gateway to Discovery – A Disney Vacation Welcome Center. The center itself is open during normal Disney Springs operating hours, but there is a model villa of a Riviera Two Bedroom Lock-off Villa on the second floor that is open for tours from 12pm to 7:30pm daily. No appointment is needed to visit.
EPCOT
One of the newest models to visit can be found at the Château de Voyage, the Disney Vacation Club Welcome Center that is located in the Canada Pavilion. In addition to speaking to a cast member about Disney Vacation Club Membership, you can visit a model of a Polynesian Island Tower Two Bedroom Lock-off Villa. To visit this location, you can make an appointment at any of the Disney Vacation Club Discover Desks in EPCOT. Note that you do need to have valid theme park admission to visit this location.
