It’s hard to believe, but DVC Fan just celebrated seven years since we first launched. What started as a simple idea to educate and connect Disney Vacation Club Members has grown into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined.
From the very beginning, our goal was clear. We wanted to create a place where people who love Disney Vacation Club could come together to share ideas, experiences, and memories. What we didn’t expect was just how incredible this community would become.
Over the years, many of you have become more than viewers or readers. You’ve become friends. In many cases, you’ve become family. And for us personally, DVC Fan has changed our lives by allowing our work to align with something we truly love.
As Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward—opening up new doors and doing new things—because we’re curious.” That idea has always guided us, and it brings us to what we are so excited to share today.
Why We Created DVC Fan Forums
As DVC Fan has grown, so has our desire to deepen the sense of community that makes all of this so special.
Several years ago, we experimented with that idea through Unlocked Magic. It was a different kind of community. It was paid, offered exclusive perks, and helped us learn a tremendous amount about what people value when it comes to connecting with others who share their passion.
That experience ultimately evolved into what Unlocked Magic is today, a successful ticketing platform. But one thing remained clear to us through it all.
People want a place to connect.
Not just scroll. Not just like. But truly connect.
That is exactly what led us here.

DVC Fan Forums is our next step in building a true home for this community.
Our vision was simple. Take the best parts of social media, combine them with the structure and depth of traditional forums, and create something that feels modern, intuitive, and welcoming.
With the incredible work of Ben Hilger, who helped bring this platform to life, we believe we have done just that.
