Minnie Van Airport Service Now Available for Deluxe Resort & DVC Guests Beginning August 13th

Disney World Minnie Van

Beginning August 13, 2025, Disney will expand its popular Minnie Van Service to offer airport transportation for Guests staying at Deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotels – including Disney Vacation Club Members and Guests using points or staying direct. This service will provide a new, private travel option between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and your resort.

While the convenience and whimsical design of a polka-dotted Minnie Van might be a big draw, the price tag means this is likely to appeal most to those who value Disney’s personalized service over budget transportation options.

  • Begin operating August 13th, 2025
  • Be available to all Guests staying at Deluxe Disney Resorts (including DVC Members and renters)
  • Provide direct transportation between MCO and your Disney Resort hotel

How to Book Minnie Van Airport Service

Guests may book 60 days to 2 days prior to their travel date by calling (407) 828-3500.
It is preferred that Guests book directly themselves, as Disney requires:

  • Complete flight details (arrival/departure times)
  • Guest information for all passengers

Reservation Window & Availability

  • Preferred booking: 48–60 days in advance
  • Last-minute option: Book up to 24 hours before travel (subject to availability)
  • Once fully booked: No additional reservations will be accepted

Minnie Van Airport Service Pricing

  • $199 one-way ($398 round trip)

How Does Minnie Van Pricing Compare?

We compared the Minnie Van price with other Orlando airport transportation options:

ServiceTypeApprox. Price (Round Trip for 4)Notes
Minnie VanPrivate$398Disney-operated, themed, direct
Mears Connect StandardShared Shuttle$121.80Multiple stops
Mears Connect ExpressPrivate$250Closest comparison to Minnie Van
Uber/LyftPrivate Ride~$80–$150Price varies by demand
Rental CarStandard~$300–$400Includes freedom for off-property trips

Bottom line: Minnie Van Airport Service is the priciest option, nearly $150 more than Mears Express for a similar private service. Guests are paying for the convenience, Disney service, and themed experience rather than savings.

Is the Minnie Van Airport Service Worth It?

If you value:

  • Door-to-door convenience with a Disney Cast Member driver
  • Disney theming from the moment you land
  • No rideshare or shuttle uncertainties

…then this may be worth the splurge.

If you’re focused on budget, rideshares, shuttles, or rental cars will likely give you significant savings.

What DVC Members Should Know

Because this service is available for Deluxe Resorts, it includes:

  • All DVC Resorts at Walt Disney World (whether booked on points or cash)
  • Guests renting points
  • DVC Members booking direct stays

You can also pair this with a pre- or post-cruise stay if you’re sailing out of Port Canaveral, though Minnie Vans do not currently serve the cruise terminal.

The Minnie Van Airport Service adds another convenient, Disney-operated transportation option for Guests traveling between Orlando International Airport and Deluxe Disney Resorts. While the price is high compared to rideshare or shuttle options, some will find value in the private, direct, and Disney-themed experience.

Will you be booking a Minnie Van for your next trip, or will the price have you sticking to other transportation choices?

    Thanks Paul,

Good information but I would structure it differently. Renting a car at MCO conviently dropping at on site locations where you can get on grounds transportation then reversing the process when you leave is FAR cheaper! Even without the plethora of discounts available one can rent cars for well under $100 per day. We visit four or five times a year and always use this option!
