UPDATE 7/23/2024: Despite initial plans to reopen the DVC Member Lounge at EPCOT on July 13th, 2024, it seems that the closure will continue indefinitely at this point. This news comes as a disappointment to many Disney Vacation Club members who were looking forward to enjoying the lounge’s amenities during their upcoming trips.
The decision to extend the closure was announced on the Disney Vacation Club website, which now includes new language stating that the lounge is temporarily closed due to a scheduled refurbishment with no set reopening date: “Please note the Member Lounge in the Imagination! Pavilion is temporarily closed due to a scheduled refurbishment. Please check back here for more information on when the Member Lounge is scheduled to reopen.”
In addition, the temporary DVC Member Lounge located at The Odyssey Pavilion has also closed its doors. This temporary location was meant to serve as an interim space while the Imagination! Pavilion lounge underwent refurbishment. However, it seems that The Odyssey Pavilion may be closing in order to begin preparations for its transformation for the popular EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
We will continue to monitor any updates on the situation and provide information as it becomes available. In the meantime, DVC members can visit other lounges throughout Walt Disney World Resort or take advantage of other member benefits offered by Disney Vacation Club.
Temporary Lounge at The Odyssey
During this refurbishment period, a temporary lounge will be available for members inside The Odyssey, located between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion. The temporary lounge offers comfortable seating, complimentary beverages and snacks, and access to additional paid food and beverage options within The Odyssey. It will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (subject to change), and the standard Member Lounge eligibility and rules apply to this location.
