Amy and I were so honored to be invited by Universal to attend the Grand Opening Celebration of Epic Universe last night.
When we started DVC Fan seven years ago, I never imagined this is where the journey would lead. When Epic Universe was first announced, the thought of being present for its Grand Opening wasn’t even in the realm of possibility. But somehow, this wild ride has taken two small-town people and given us the chance to be part of something truly monumental.
I won’t claim this video is my best work—emotions were high and the scope of the night was overwhelming—but I hope you’ll watch it, because all of YOU are the reason any of this is real. Last night, I stood in awe, with tears in my eyes (especially during every moment that involved dragons), thinking about how far this journey has come.
