October 14, 2019My biggest beef with the Polynesian is the lack of 1 bedroom units. My second biggest beef is that DVD built too many bungalows. I would say at least twice as many as should have been built. The things took over Lookout Point! Lagoon Views are spoiled for everything except 3rd floor rooms. Point-wise, the bungalows are more expensive than a grand villa at the Grand Floridian. (Yeow!) I agree with Shawn that points for the bungalows should be rebalanced though I am unsure if DVC CAN raise the price on studios and lower it on bungalows. I recall the member revolt when point charts came out rebalancing between studios and 1 bedrooms. DVC was on firmer footing treating 1 bedroom/studio as a single 2 bedroom lockoff with respect to point allocation. I don’t see that with studios and bungalows. Of course I don’t own at PVB so I don’t know the details of the contract.
