September 30, 2024First Amy “I’m old” Krieger: Puh-leaze. I own socks that are older. I do understand the sentiment about the pull-out and Murphy beds. For years our family of three would book 2 bedroom villas just so my Disney Princess could have a real bed. There was a time I packed a foam topper when a real bed was not in the cards.
We stayed exactly once at SSR in a preferred view 1 bedroom villa. I will NEVER stay at SSR again without a car. The bus service is inadequate for the size of the resource. I will concede that the only time we stayed at SSR was right after COVID re-opening with all the restrictions for bus capacity.
Back in the days of DME, we would routinely fly down the day before for a cruise and stay overnight at OKW.
