Many over on DISboards and in the DVC Fan Facebook Group are reporting that the refurbishment to the Congress Park section of Saratoga Springs Resort is now complete.
This completion marks the first milestone in what is a scheduled two-year full refurbishment of Saratoga Springs. Construction on this massive overhaul of the resort began in June 2019. New features being added as part of the renovations include all new furniture, flooring, appliances, and more, including the addition of pull-down murphy beds, similar to those featured at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Exterior painting is also being performed as part of the project.
Construction is now rumored to be moving to The Springs section of the resort, which will conclude the refurbishment of all rooms in the resorts “preferred” category. Additional parts of the resorts not yet started include The Paddock, The Grandstand, and The Carousel. In total, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort has over 800 villas and is the largest Disney Vacation Club property at Walt Disney World.

Stayed there in early Dec (me, wife, 12 and 8 yr old boys) for 4 days. Beautiful, bright, clean look. Massive TV. USB ports everywhere. Storage under bed. Lovely bathroom fixtures. Nice to have non-carpet floor. Only complaint is extra points for preferred (for now).
Rooms are now second best on property after Riviera, they did a wonderful quality job with this refurb- especially 1 beds and up. SSR points are now underpriced on the resale market with this refurb.
