Disney Vacation Club Member Insider – January 2020 Recap

Heading into your email inbox this week is the January 2020 edition of the Disney Vacation Club Member Insider. Here is a quick recap of a few interesting pieces of information we found inside:

New Beverage Tasting Series at Napa Rose Lounge

Join other Disney Vacation Members on an exploration of sparkling wines from Spain and Italy at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Guests will enjoy a variety of wines paired with macarons and will also receive a special DVC keepsake. This event occurs from 2:00 – 3:30 pm on select Thursdays from January through April. Cost is $60 per person.

DVC Members Save $30 at Disney Villains After Hours

One of the most popular events of 2019 in back and “badder” than ever at Magic Kingdom! Disney Villains After Hours will return starting this February, bringing some wicked fun back to Walt Disney World.  Disney Vacation Club Members can save $30 per ticket when purchasing in advance online or via Member Services.

New Resorts Added to The Disney Collection

DVC is now reporting that members can use their points as part of The Disney Collection at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. These new additions to The Disney Collection start at 8 to 10 points per night. The Disney Collection offers members the ability to use their points at a select number of Disney resorts that are not part of Disney Vacation Club.

Please note, many of these perks are considered Disney Vacation Club – Membership Extras and can only be booked by direct members with a valid blue membership card.
