Disney Dining Plan Remains Unavailable for DVC Members

It’s been almost three weeks since the return of the Disney Dining Plan returned and Disney Vacation Club Members continue to be unable to add this to their 2024 vacations.

The Disney Vacation Club website continues to state that members could call Member Services to add dining plans to their 2024 stays starting May 31, 2023. Unfortunately, it seems that this is still not possible.

When members call or chat with DVC Member Services, they are informed that adding the dining plan remains unavailable for DVC Members at this time. While there is still plenty of time to get this straightened out before 2024 vacations, it is a disappointment for many who were looking forward to immediately adding the Disney Dining Plan to their future vacation plans.

The Disney Dining Plan comes in tiers, with prices starting at $57 per night for adults and $23 for kids:

Quick-Service Dining Plan

  • Adults: $57 per night
  • Children: $23.83 per night

Disney Dining Plan

  • Adults: $94.28 per night
  • Children: $29.69 per night

The Disney Dining Plan can be a great way for some to save money on meals and snacks while enjoying their vacation at Walt Disney World. While some feel that the dining plan does not provide value to Disney Vacation Club Members, others enjoy the peace of mind of having their vacation meals pre-paid for ahead of their trip.

We hope that soon enough DVC Members will be able to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan when planning their vacations with the Disney Vacation Club!

Stay tuned to DVCFan.com and the DVC Fan Facebook for more updates as they become available. Also, let us know in the comments what you think of the Disney Dining Plan and whether you’ll be taking advantage of it as a DVC Member!

  • As a dvc member I’m just confused as to why we are being excluded from adding the Disney dining plan. Not happy with that decision and hopefully they will change this policy soon

    • The Dining Plan will be offered to DVC Members it just sounds like they are having technical issues.

  • I think the ‘DDP gods’ are trying to tell you; DDP is not worth it !!! Slow down, relax. You have until, Jan 2024

    • I think the dinning plan needs to revised to a point system, just like Dvc uses for resort stays. Example you buy a set number of points for your resort stay than each menu item would be given a point value. You could use your purchased points at any restaurant or quick service and when your points runout you would than resort to cash or credit, there would be no carry over of points. You could very the amount of points purchased per person, some would by less because they prefer quick service but would like to try the better seat down options, while others would buy more knowing they prefer the seat down restaurants.
