The new year has brought with it a thrilling announcement for Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members! In a recent post on the Disney Parks Blog, Disney revealed that construction of a brand-new DVC Member Lounge will commence at Walt Disney World in 2024.

Disney promises this new addition will serve as a haven for members to unwind and rejuvenate amidst their adventures at the park. While specifics are still under wraps, more details will be forthcoming on the Disney Parks Blog later this year.

Exclusive Access for Qualifying Members

One crucial detail to note about the upcoming DVC Member Lounge is that access will be exclusive to direct DVC members who qualify for benefits. This exclusivity underscores Disney’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding its dedicated direct member base, ensuring that they have a comfortable space to rest and recharge during their visits.

A Possible Location: Disney Springs?

As for the lounge’s location, sources suggest keeping an eye on Disney Springs. The entertainment complex has long enjoyed a robust Disney Vacation Club presence and has been the subject of speculation for years about a potential DVC Member space.

Rumors abound that the new Member Lounge might find its home in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, which would make it a convenient stop for members enjoying the shopping, dining, and entertainment options the area has to offer.

A Stellar Addition to the DVC Member Lounge Line-Up

This upcoming DVC Member Lounge will be joining an already impressive line-up of exclusive spaces dedicated to Disney Vacation Club members. These include the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower, a favorite for its stunning panoramic views of Walt Disney World and Magic Kingdom; the EPCOT DVC Member Lounge, a quiet retreat in the heart of one of Disney’s most iconic parks; and the latest addition, the Star View Station Member Lounge at Disneyland.

Each of these lounges offers a unique atmosphere and set of amenities, catering to different tastes and preferences among DVC members. The addition of more DVC Member Lounges has long been a request of many because of how popular these existing spaces have become.

Stay tuned to DVC Fan as we continue to provide updates on this exciting development. Here’s to a magical 2024, filled with new experiences and continued Disney magic!

I hope they always keep the Epcot lounge, and that this would just be an addition! Nothing beats the views from the Epcot lounge and the relaxing atmosphere.

Honestly, the should have one DVC lounge in each park, including Disney Springs.
