The 2026 DVC points charts are hot off the presses! Let’s take a look at what has changed and what it means for you and your future Disney vacations.
General Changes
Overall, most resort points charts remained identical to those from 2025, with the usual adjustment in dates for holidays.
However, you may notice one small change across most of the points charts: Standard Views have been renamed as Resort Views. It seems like this may simply be a change in verbiage though it does offer a broader term that isn’t always consistent across resorts. For example, at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian, a Resort View room can include other areas of the resort such as gardens or parking areas. However, at the BoardWalk, Resort View is defined as other areas of the resort such as parking areas; Garden areas are considered a Preferred View. This is just something to be aware of as you select your booking categories in the future.
An exception to the change in name is Saratoga Springs. Standard still refers to the building location (i.e., The Grandstand, The Carousel, and The Paddock) rather than a view.
Minor Point Changes for BoardWalk Studios

I typically start looking at the BoardWalk points chart first since that’s my main home resort, and it also happens to have nearly every room type and more than one booking category. The numbers have shifted there ever so slightly. Now a Resort View Deluxe Studio in the first two travel periods (September, January, and the first half of May) starts at 10 points–no more 9 points a night at the BoardWalk! To balance these increases, some other dates have decreased in point value for Resort View Deluxe Studios, such as Sundays through Thursdays in February and June 11 to August 31 as well as weekends in October and November.
Interestingly, no changes were made to Boardwalk/Preferred Deluxe Studios or the One Bedroom Villas, Two Bedroom Villas, or the Three Bedroom Grand Villas for any booking category. Perhaps this makes sense when considering how tough it is to book a Resort View Deluxe Studio at the BoardWalk. Even as a BoardWalk owner booking right at 8am ET at the 11-month mark, I am often shut out of Resort View Deluxe Studios.
Minor But Unchecked Point Increases for the Villas Disneyland Hotel Three Bedroom Grand Villa

The points chart for the Three Bedroom Grand Villa at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel has increased slightly for every travel period in 2026. These increases range from 2 to 4 additional points per night. Oddly enough, there doesn’t appear to be any decreases in the points chart to balance out these increases for the Grand Villa as is typically expected with point chart changes. All the point values for the other rooms remain the same as those in 2025. It’s also worth noting that there are only two Three Bedroom Grand Villas in all of the Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
No Shift at the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
With the recent inclusion of the new Island Tower villas, it was notable that no real changes were made for 2026 for the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. As pointed out by fellow DVC Fan moderator Ryan Chung, the point values for the Island Tower rooms remained the same despite previous concerns that points would shift from the bungalows to the Island Tower villas in an attempt to balance out the points chart and make the Bora Bora Bungalows less costly.
Status Quo at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Owners at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort received more good news. In addition to the recent announcement that their dues actually decreased for next year, the Cabins points chart also remained untouched. The newest DVC resort is still a great value for travel parties of up to 6 guests with many nights similar in value to Deluxe Studios at other resorts.
All in all, the mostly minor changes may come as a relief to many DVC Members as this does make it easier to plan trips from year to year. Stay tuned to DVC Fan and our DVC Fan Facebook Group for more updates and insights on all things Disney Vacation Club!
