NEW Permits Filed for Fort Wilderness Cabins DVC

Fort Wilderness Cabins

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is taking its next official steps towards adding its next property – The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! Disney has recently filed for a timeshare sales license, marking a significant milestone for the next Walt Disney World DVC property!

The initial filing for timeshare sales is the first step toward selling this new property. This move signifies that DVC is in the process of making The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort an official part of their vacation club portfolio. Earlier this month we also reported on other construction permitting related to the project.

It’s worth noting that these routine filings are required by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) in Florida when new timeshare properties are built and sold. As per the DBPR, each developer of a single-site timeshare plan is required to file with the division. This filing is in accordance with the Florida Statutes as prescribed in DBPR Form TS 6000-4, Index to Vacation Rentals & Timeshare Projects.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is projected to open in 2024. This will be the 17th Disney Vacation Club resort, following the recent grand opening of The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Given the impending sellout of Grand Floridian, we expect that sales for this new property will likely begin by Spring 2024.

Set on 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground evokes the timeless beauty of the American frontier. The resort has always been a cherished destination for those seeking a unique Disney experience amidst the serene wilderness. With this move, DVC members can look forward to enjoying vacations at these cabins, creating memories surrounded by scenic trails and the rustic charm of the resort.

The Cabins at Fort Wilderness will comprise 350 luxurious new cabins, reimagined for Disney Vacation Club. These cabins promise to offer a unique blend of comfort and adventure, ensuring a memorable stay for families and individuals.

As we look forward to the opening of The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, we can’t help but anticipate what unique and exciting experiences they will bring and can’t wait to explore the cabins with you all later next year. Stay tuned to DVCFan.com and the DVC Fan Facebook Group for more updates as we follow this development closely!
