Old Disney’s Fort Wilderness Cabins Being Sold!

Old Fort Wilderness Cabin

Disney has begun the sale of the iconic cabins from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. This comes as the beloved resort undergoes significant transformations to become the latest addition to the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) portfolio.

For those looking to own a slice of Disney magic, several of the resort’s old cabins have recently made their appearance on Facebook Marketplace, with asking prices around $49,900. While the listings are somewhat vague about their origins, the accompanying photos leave little doubt that these are indeed the much-loved cabins from Fort Wilderness. According to the details found, these cabins can find new life within 25 miles of Orlando, Florida, with options for further transportation available upon request.

As Disney Vacation Club gears up for for its takeover of the resort, all 350 existing structures are set to be replaced over the next year. The first of these modern replacements is scheduled to welcome guests starting July 1st, 2024.

Stay tuned for further updates from DVC Fan on this exciting development and more!

How do we find information on buying one? Nostalgia is always very expensive and those cabins are near and dear to our kids and grandkids. Please send me any information on them. 🙏
      Thank you

Do you have a guess as to whether the number of blue card owners is increasing or decreasing? Is getting into blue card events such as Moonlight Magic getting tougher? I know that a ton of blue card owners sell their contracts essentially converting them into white card memberships, but I don’t know if these sales outnumber the direct membership sales.
