Disney Vacation Club is celebrating as six of their resorts have been named the “Best for Families” by Travel + Leisure! These honors recognize the top destinations and travel providers worldwide, and are based on a survey of Travel + Leisure readers who rated hotels and resorts on a variety of factors, including amenities, location, service, and overall experience.
Taking the top DVC spot in the list this year at number five overall is Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Oahu, Hawaii. The resort offers a culturally immersive experience with Disney magic, featuring a range of activities from snorkeling in Rainbow Reef to experiencing the KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au, and luxurious Disney Vacation Club villas complete with full kitchens, washers, dryers, and whirlpool tubs for a perfect ‘ohana experience.
Other resorts ranking in the top fifteen named by Travel + Leisure include Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, California, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Vero Beach, Florida, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Beach Club Villas, located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

June 22, 2023I’m a big fan of Vero. It definitely deserves its place on this list. Also love Hilton Head. Actually just relocated to the Hilton Head area last week. So hope to use the occasional points for a night or two. When it comes to food, Vero and Hilton Head are great because there are so many great restaurants in the surrounding area.
