Exciting news for Aulani visitors as Disney announced today that the KA WA’A Luau at Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa will return on March 27th! According to the announcement, there have been some adjustments made with guests’ health and safety in mind. Aulani guests can visit the resort’s website to read about additional safety measures.
The luau will be offered three nights a week starting at 5 pm, then moving to 5:30 pm starting June 1st – weather permitting. Reservations can be made online or by calling (844) 284-7644.
According to Disney Park’s Blog:
The lu‘au features a three-course plated meal that includes island favorites such as ahi poke and lomilomi salmon salad, imu-style braised pork, island fish, teriyaki chicken, local seasonal vegetables and a dessert trio. To accompany the meal, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are included in the event price. After dinner, guests are treated to an enchanting journey through Hawaiian history and discover its deep cultural roots in canoe (wa‘a) exploration, which brought the first explorers to the shores of Ko Olina. Throughout the evening, lively music and traditional Hawaiian dance vividly bring the show’s story to life.
General seating is priced at $160 per person for adults and $94 for children. Infants to 2 years old are free. Preferred seating is $189 per adult and $114 for children. Original pricing for the KA WA’A Luau at Disney’s Aulani Resort prior to its closure was set at $179 for preferred and $139 for general and originally set to increase in April of 2020 to $184 and $144 respectively.

Great stuff. Just happened to be planning an Aulani trip, so this is very timely.
It’s like any other Disney thing, I’m probably going to pay whatever they charge and I bet it’ll be amazing.
Thanks for sharing!
This show was the absolute highlight of our trip to Aulani a few years ago! So glad to see it’s coming back, especially as we’re starting to plan a trip back to Hawaii next year!
