Update 4/2/2021: Check out our latest Saratoga Springs refurbishment and construction update from April 2021!

It seems that pool waterslide refurbishment is the cool thing this year at the Walt Disney World Resort! Beginning this winter, The Paddock Pool waterslide at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be closing for refurbishment.

This closure will also affect transportation around that area of the resort as well.

In an announcement on the Saratoga Springs website, Disney states:

The Paddock Pool waterslide at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close for refurbishment beginning this winter. As part of this work, the bridge connecting The Paddock to other resort areas will also temporarily close. Guests can board the resort shuttle or follow posted signage for alternative routes around the lake while the bridge is under refurbishment. Not to worry, the Paddock Pool will remain open through the majority of this work. Additionally, guests can enjoy the High Rocks Spring feature pool and waterslide, as well as two leisure pools at the resort.

The bridge indicated in red that connects The Paddock to other areas of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will be closed throughout the slides refurbishment.

After the recent refurbishment of The Keister Coaster at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, it is hard to tell what may be planned for the waterslide here at Saratoga Springs. Let us know in the comments your thoughts and what changes you hope to see!
