Disney's Lakeshore Lodge

Set on the shores of Bay Lake right next door to Fort Wilderness, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is the newest Disney Vacation Club resort at Walt Disney World and one of the most anticipated DVC openings in years.

The resort celebrates nature through Disney storytelling, with rooms inspired by Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Encanto, and Fantasia, plus floor-to-ceiling windows and architecture designed to blend into the surrounding woodlands. With 967 total rooms, Lakeshore Lodge combines hotel-style Resort Studios with DVC villas and brand-new freestanding Lake Houses on the water’s edge.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027. Cash reservations opened in October 2026, but Disney has not yet announced when Members can book with Vacation Points, the resort’s point chart, direct sales pricing, or the contract end date. We’ll keep this page updated as new details are released!

Room Details

Room categories at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge are based on view: No Balcony, Resort View, Preferred View, Premium View, and Lake House. No Balcony rooms are Resort Studios only, with partial or obstructed views of parking areas or Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Resort View rooms look out over the woodlands or parking areas, while Preferred View rooms overlook the pool or offer partial views of Bay Lake. Premium View rooms feature partial views of Magic Kingdom or its fireworks, and the Three-Bedroom Grand Villas and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite come exclusively in this category. The Lake Houses get a category all their own, with Bay Lake right outside the door and partial views of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks.

Lakeshore Lodge also offers Club Level. Select Resort Studios and the one-of-a-kind Hidden Willow Presidential Suite include access to The Artist’s Nest, a club lounge above the treetops with concierge service, personalized front desk service, and complimentary refreshments from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Disney hasn’t said yet whether club-level rooms will be bookable with DVC points.

Accommodations at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge include Resort Studios, Duo Studios, Deluxe Studios, One-Bedroom Villas, Two-Bedroom Villas, Three-Bedroom Grand Villas, One- and Two-Bedroom Lake Houses, and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite. Each room type takes its design cues from a Disney film, from the Encanto-inspired Duo Studios to the Brother Bear-themed Lake Houses. One-Bedroom Villas and larger have full kitchens with a full-size refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and pots and pans, plus an in-villa washer and dryer. Duo Studios and Deluxe Studios have kitchenettes with a microwave, small refrigerator, plates, bowls, and utensils, and Deluxe Studios add a wet bar. The Pocahontas-inspired Resort Studios are hotel-style rooms with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, sleeping up to 4 in the two-queen layout or up to 2 in the king layout.

Resort Studios

Resort Studios are the hotel-style rooms at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. Think of a traditional Disney Deluxe Resort hotel room rather than a DVC villa. They’re decorated in a Pocahontas theme, with carved wood paneling, scenic murals, and a “Colors of the Wind” blue and purple palette.

There are two layouts. The Queen room has two queen beds and sleeps up to 4 guests, and the King room has one king bed and sleeps up to 2. Each room has one full bathroom, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker, but no kitchenette. That makes them a good fit for guests who’ll spend most of their time in the parks rather than cooking in the room. Most have a private patio or balcony, except the No Balcony category.

Resort Studios come in No Balcony, Resort View, and Preferred View categories. Select rooms also include Club Level access to The Artist’s Nest, a lounge above the treetops with concierge service and complimentary refreshments. Disney hasn’t said yet whether Resort Studios can be booked with DVC points.

Duo Studios

Duo Studios are a brand-new room type for DVC, built for couples and solo travelers. They’re Walt Disney World’s first Encanto-themed rooms, with Casita artwork and butterfly details throughout.

Each Duo Studio sleeps up to 2 guests on one queen size pull-down bed, so the room works as a lounge by day and a bedroom at night. You also get one full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchenette with a microwave, small refrigerator, plates, bowls, and utensils, a seating area, and a private patio or balcony.

All Duo Studios are in the Preferred View category, overlooking the pool or with partial views of Bay Lake. They should be one of the most point-friendly ways to stay at Lakeshore Lodge, which makes them great for short trips or for adding extra nights.

Deluxe Studios

Deluxe Studios are the classic DVC studio, refreshed with a Bambi-inspired design. Expect forest browns and greens and artwork inspired by Disney Legend Tyrus Wong.

Each Deluxe Studio sleeps up to 4 guests with one queen size bed and one queen size pull-down bed. The bathroom has dual sinks, a walk-in shower, and a separate water closet, so it’s easier to get two people ready at once. There’s also a kitchenette with a wet bar, microwave, and mini fridge, plus a seating area, a wall-mounted TV, and a private patio or balcony.

Deluxe Studios come in Resort, Preferred, and Premium View categories. Premium View rooms have partial views of Magic Kingdom or its fireworks.

One-Bedroom Villas

One Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge sleep up to 5 guests and share the same Bambi-inspired woodland design as the Deluxe Studios.

Each villa includes one king size bed, one queen size pull down bed, one twin size pull down bed, a split bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, a fully equipped kitchen, separate living and dining areas, and an in villa washer and dryer, along with a private balcony. These villas are ideal for families looking for extra room and the comforts of home during their Disney vacation.

One Bedroom Villas are offered in Resort, Preferred, and Premium View categories. Square footage and room counts have not yet been released.

Two-Bedroom Villas

Two Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge sleep up to 9 guests, making them a great option for larger families and multigenerational trips.

These Bambi-inspired villas feature one king size bed, two queen size beds, one queen size pull down bed, one twin size pull down bed, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, separate living and dining areas, and an in villa washer and dryer, plus a private balcony.

Two Bedroom Villas come in Resort, Preferred, and Premium View categories. Disney has not yet released square footage, room counts, or whether these villas are lock-offs.

Three-Bedroom Grand Villas

Grand Villas are the largest villas inside the main resort building, designed for big families and multigenerational trips. They’re themed to Fantasia. The main bedroom is dressed in the autumn oranges of the Nutcracker Suite, there’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice artwork, and the living room has a fireplace.

Each Grand Villa sleeps up to 12 guests with one king size bed, four queen size beds, and two twin size pull-down beds. It has three full bathrooms plus a half bath, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, an in-villa washer and dryer, and an extra-large balcony.

Every Grand Villa is in the Premium View category, with partial views of Magic Kingdom or its fireworks. With so few of them at any DVC resort, expect these to book up fast.

Lake Houses

The Lake Houses are the headline accommodation at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. They’re freestanding A-frame homes right on the shore of Bay Lake, separate from the main building, much like the Bungalows at the Polynesian or the Cabins at Copper Creek. They’re themed to Brother Bear, with Alaskan-inspired artwork and a Northern Lights headboard in the primary bedroom.

There are two sizes. The One-Bedroom Lake House sleeps up to 5 with one king bed, one queen pull-down bed, and one twin sleeper chair. The Two-Bedroom Lake House sleeps up to 8 with one king bed, two queen beds, and two twin pull-down beds. Both have two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, a washer and dryer, and a private waterfront patio deck.

Floor-to-ceiling windows look across Bay Lake toward Magic Kingdom, with partial views of the park and its fireworks. Expect the Lake Houses to be some of the most in-demand DVC accommodations at Walt Disney World.

Hidden Willow Presidential Suite

The Hidden Willow Presidential Suite is a one-of-a-kind accommodation; there’s only one at the entire resort. Its name nods to Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas, and early reports point to a design inspired by that film.

The suite sleeps up to 6 guests with one king size bed and two queen size beds across two bedrooms. It has two full bathrooms plus a half bath, a kitchen with a full refrigerator, mini fridge, and microwave, a living room, and a private patio or balcony. The suite is also wheelchair accessible, with a roll-in shower and hearing accessibility features.

The Presidential Suite is in the Premium View category, with views of Bay Lake and the Magic Kingdom fireworks. It includes Club Level access to The Artist’s Nest, with concierge service and complimentary refreshments from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Disney hasn’t said yet whether it can be booked with DVC points.
