There are signs of life on the safari as Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge begins to add more dining options for guests staying at this popular resort!
The Mara, which originally reopened for grab-and-go breakfast during the holiday season, is now expanding its hours to offer a limited dinner menu as well! This is a much-needed dining addition for Disney Vacation Club Members currently staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House.
This quick-service dining location is now open the following hours:
Breakfast: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Dinner: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Dinner hours are currently only displayed through April; however, we assume that this will be extended as the breakfast service was after the holiday season due to the high demand for more dining options at the resort.
Those looking for some of the old staples that made The Mara such a unique quick-service dining location, like their African “Potjie,” are likely to be disappointed by the limited dinner menu currently offered. Items include a roasted half-chicken with roasted potatoes and sweet corn succotash and several burgers, sandwiches, and flatbread options.

The Mara currently encourages guests to mobile-order by using the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge continues to only be reopened for Disney Vacation Club members at this time. There have been no announcements regarding when the hotel section of Jambo House will reopen.
