Amy and I are new Orlando, Florida residents where we live with our dogs Odie the greyhound and Hermès the Spanish galgo. We are DVC owners at Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk Villas, Grand Californian, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian, Disney World Annual Passholders, and love educating Disney Vacation Club members on how to both use and maximize the value of their DVC points!

  • Huge fan of all the content provided by Pete and his team. I would like to support the crew but I just don’t understand the benefits of using a travel agent?

I have been to Disney World over a dozen times in the last 10 years and always book direct. I enjoy booking direct as I can make monthly payments and cancel for a full refund as well as adjust my reservation at will.

Are there financial benefits or access to rooms that are not available on the WDW reservation website? My family and I are planning a quick trip in November (Not using our DVC points) so interested in finding out more.

    • Hey Nick – Valid points, and I think the easiest way to get some answers would be to reach out to a Dreams Unlimited Travel agent. I personally recommend Elaine Edwards who can be reached at Elaine@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

  • Love this trail for running in the morning❤️

  • Thanks for the walk! It’s been well over a year since we’ve been back there (or anywhere for that matter!) This is one of our home resorts and I’ll be there in October. And, yes, I did know about the little side trail and agree that not only can you do a Halloween trail, but Christmas and probably a lot more. I heard you say Vero Beach next. Another of our home resorts. If you are not a food nit picker, go to Mulligans or Captn Hirims for fun. Mulligans outside has a nice view and Captain Hirims has a sand bar and bands. Not being foodies, we go for view and fun. Take an Indian River cruise to look for dolphins and manatees!

  • What a great walk with you today. My last visit was in 2017. I know that path as I’ve been on it many times.I made 37 trips to WDW from Maine over 25 years, most as an AP holder. Stayed 5 months in winter 2016 and 4 months in 2017 and explored every secret pathway at every single resort as well as every nook and cranny at the Parks and Disney Springs. Such fun you reminded me of today Thank you!
