Amy and I are new Orlando, Florida residents where we live with our dogs Odie the greyhound and Hermès the Spanish galgo. We are DVC owners at Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk Villas, Grand Californian, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian, Disney World Annual Passholders, and love educating Disney Vacation Club members on how to both use and maximize the value of their DVC points!

  • I agree with everything you reported. As a wheelchair user, I was surprised that BRV studio only had one handicap room per floor. No large roll-in shower, but they have the wheelchair transfer to a fold-down shower seat where you park your wheelchair in front of the sink. Bathroom is different with open space with toilet, sink, and smaller, square shower. Your back and knees touch the front and back of the shower. No wheelchair access to the balcony.

  • I don’t mind old if it’s clean. Did you do a Pete test on this room? ;=)

    • It was pretty clean… but I want a blacklight for that couch. Lol

  • I don’t understand why the DVC refurbishments can’t keep the theming. The regular hotel room refurbs are totally themed but the DVC rooms are being made very generic.
