Amid the ongoing closures of Walt Disney World due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Disney Vacation Club announced today that the scheduled Moonlight Magic event for EPCOT on June 29th, 2020 has been canceled.
With EPCOT at Walt Disney World not reopening until July 15th, this cancellation was expected but not confirmed by Disney Vacation Club until today.
No notice of whether these events may be rescheduled at a later date was announced at this time.
In an email to those guests currently registered for the event, Disney Vacation Club stated, “We’ll evaluate Moonlight Magic events scheduled for July and beyond as we approach those event dates and will share any updates as soon as possible.”

The next Moonlight Magic events are schedule for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on Monday, July 27, 2020, and Monday, August 10, 2020. Additional Moonlight Magic events are also scheduled for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 15, September 22, and October 6, 2020.
