Another piece of Hurly-Burly is falling into place at Disney’s BoardWalk, with the new signage now going up ahead of the venue’s October 1st opening.
From what we can see, Disney appears to be keeping some of the visual personality longtime BoardWalk fans will remember from Jellyrolls. The red awnings remain a prominent part of the exterior, while the Hurly-Burly signage carries a similarly warm color palette that feels right at home with the nostalgic BoardWalk setting.

We’re also curious to see how the signs look after dark. If Disney uses a similar style of backlighting, the finished exterior should preserve some of that familiar nighttime glow while still giving Hurly-Burly its own identity.
That feels like the right approach for this space. Jellyrolls was such a recognizable part of the BoardWalk for so long, so it’s nice to see the new venue move forward without completely abandoning the look and atmosphere that made this corner of the resort feel so familiar.
Hurly-Burly officially opens October 1 at Disney’s BoardWalk, and we can’t wait to finally step inside and see the finished space for ourselves!
